| DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE The Stinger Bore Cleaner has multiple stages of cleaning and each cartridge has it's own cleaning and conditioning oils, ready to go anywhere and to use when needed. Remember to use the Stinger in Lawful Areas Only. Using the Stinger Bore Cleaner is quite simple. First, purchase the correct gauge. Each Stinger is individually wrapped to protect it against the elements and provide a stable shelf-life. Remove the wrapper from the cartridge prior to use. Load the Stinger into the chamber. If you are using a double barrel, use only one Stinger as it will easily clean both bores. For the second bore, you will need to manually put the Stinger through. If you are using a pump or semi-auto shotgun, the primer energy from the Stinger cartridge is not enough to automatically eject the cartridge from the shotgun. You will, in all cases, remove the empty cartridge manually...after you have pulled the Stinger through the bore. After you have loaded the Stinger, aim the shotgun in a safe direction. The plastic overshot wad at the end of the cartridge will shatter when the primer energy ejects the cord. Aiming in a safe direction, fire the Stinger. There is a small bead at the end of the cord that causes the cord to eject out the end of the barrel. This cord is connected to the multiple stages of cleaning units. Pull the cord slowly. You will encounter designed resistance. Not all manufactured shotguns have identical inside diameters on the bore. If you encounter strong resistance you may need assistance pulling the cord. Pulling with a glove on is effective. Pull the cord slowly...there will be less resistance as the Stinger fully exits the cartridge. Pulling slowing permits the cleaning and conditioning oils to work, along with the multiple stages of cleaners. Each Stinger has enough oils (depending on the amount of residue in the bore) to clean several bores. You can put the Stinger through the same bore again, manually...to clean and condition the chamber area. 360° Of Cleaning Power is part of the technology that makes the Stinger so effective. The cleaning units inside the cartridge are oversize and expand in the bore. The cleaning and conditioning oils (by Mil-Comm Products) are the finest available. The Stinger Bore Cleaner is designed to provide you with the least amount of exposure to chemicals, clean and condition your bore with non-toxic synthetic oils and permit you to achieve this almost anywhere and anytime you desire. |
